昔、初代プレイステーションで遊んだmoonというゲームソフト。
それがセール中で2024年2月14日23時59分 まで30%オフになっています。（1,980円→1,386円）
ここ最近は、moonの10%オフの時があって、買おうかちょっと心が揺れ動いてしまいました。
moonはよくあるRPGのように勇者がモンスターを退治しまくるストーリーに疑問を投げかけるゲームです。
主人公は勇者に退治されたモンスター（アニマル）の魂を救済してラブを集めるのですが、登場するキャラクター達が印象的だったので今でも記憶に残っています。
moonの発売当時、私は中学生でしたが「moonって何が面白いの？」と言う感じで周りの友人たちから評判の良くないゲームでしたね。
戦闘が無いですし、ゲーム内で流すBGMも自分で選ぶし。
一言で表現するとシュールな感じ？
暴力的な世界観を教育上、良しとしない親御さんにとっては安心？して遊ばせることができるゲームの一つなのかもしれません。
なぜ私が今になって買おうか心が揺れ動いたかと言うと、当時、友達からmoonを借りて中途半端に遊んでエンディングを見ておらず、心残りになっているというのが理由なんですよね。
ゲームソフトって最後まで遊んでいない状態のままにしていると、記憶の片隅にずっと残ってしまうのは私だけでしょうか？
世の中色んなゲームがありますが、とりあえず最後まで遊ばないことには作品としての評価をどうこう言える立場では無いんじゃないかと最近は思うようになりました。
何というか、開発者へのリスペクトですね。
最近は過去作のリメイクが流行っていますが、moonみたいに原作ほとんどそのまま遊べるゲームも懐かしくて良いですね。
こういう大人向けのRPG「MOTHER」とか「MOTHER2」に共通するような感じの一癖あるのが私は好きですね。

Recently, remakes of past games have become popular, but it’s nice to feel nostalgic for games that can be played almost exactly as they were originally.
I like quirky RPGs that have a feel common to MOTHER for adults like this.
