PlaystationPlusというサブスクで遊んでいます。
PlaystationPlusの公式サイトでゆったり癒されるゲームとして紹介されていたPS5、PS4の「アイアムデッド」というゲームをご存知ですか？
主人公はある島で亡くなった老人なのですが、島の噴火を回避するために幽霊となって島を守るガーディアン探しをするというストーリーです。
ここ最近の私は、ゼルダのティアーズオブザキングダムばかり遊んでいてクリア後に遊ぶゲームを探していたのですが、アイアムデッドはその代わりになっています。
アイアムデッドでは、敵と戦ってレベルを上げたりといった忙しい展開は皆無でゆったりとした時間が流れています。
目的は死者の遺品を探したり、妖精を探したり、なぞなぞにちなんだ物体を探したり。
とにかく物を探しまくるというシンプルなゲームなんですね。
シンプルとは言え、ゲームのグラフィックは３Dで可愛い感じの世界が広がっていて、年代や性別を問わず遊べる雰囲気。
カメラを動かしてカーソルで決定するだけなので、出来ることは限られますが登場人物それぞれのストーリーが作り込まれていて、誰かの人生を覗き見るような感覚です。
海外のメーカーが製作したゲームなので、会話は英語ですしもちろんナレーションも英語。
英語を勉強するついでにちょっと一息するのに良いかもしれません。
PlaystationPlusは、アイアムデッド以外にも海外のゲームがやまほどあるので、英語を勉強するのに役立つソフトもきっとあるんじゃないかと思っています。
ゲームで遊びながら英語を学べるなら一石二鳥で良いですよね。

I Am Dead A relaxing PS5 game

The main character is an old man who died on an island, and in order to avoid the island’s eruption, he turns into a ghost and searches for a guardian to protect the island.
Lately, I’ve been playing Zelda’s Tears of the Kingdom, and I was looking for a game to play after I finished it, but I Am Dead has become that place.
In I Am Dead, there is no hectic development such as fighting enemies and raising levels, and time flows at a leisurely pace.
The objectives are to search for the belongings of the deceased, to search for fairies, and to search for objects related to riddles.
It’s a simple game where you search for things.
Although it may be simple, the game’s graphics are 3D, creating a cute world that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders.
All you have to do is move the camera and make decisions with the cursor, so what you can do is limited, but each character’s story is well-crafted, and it feels like you’re peeking into someone’s life.
Since this is a game made by an overseas manufacturer, the dialogue is in English, and of course the narration is also in English.
It might be a good place to take a break while studying English.
Playstation Plus has a lot of foreign games besides I Am Dead, so I’m sure there will be software that will be useful for studying English.
If you can learn English while playing games, you can kill two birds with one stone.
