夏は埼玉県から遊びに来る友人と近くの海水浴場に行くのが恒例行事となっていました。
私は海水浴に出かけるようなタイプではないのですが、友人と近況を語り合ったりできる良い機会として楽しんでいます。
しかし、COVID-19によってここ数年は中止となっています。
今年こそは大丈夫だろうと思っていたのですが、この2週間でこれまで以上の感染拡大が起こり始めました。
私は友人を迎え入れるので基本的にはウェルカムです。
そうは言っても、友人はたくさん感染者がいる地域から遊びに行くのは気になるみたい。
ハッキリと中止にしようと決まってはいませんが、たぶん今年も海水浴には行かないでしょう。
ああ、早くCOVID-19が落ち着いて日常を楽しめるようになって欲しいものです。

Maybe I won’t go swimming again this year
In the summer, it was an annual event to go to a nearby beach with a friend who came to visit from Saitama prefecture.
I’m not the type of person to go swimming, but I enjoy it as a good opportunity to talk with my friends about what’s happening.
However, it has been canceled for the last few years due to COVID-19.
I thought it would be okay this year, but in the last two weeks, more infections have begun to spread.
I welcome friends, so it’s basically a welcome.
That said, my friends seem to be worried about going out from areas with many infected people.
I haven’t decided to cancel it clearly, but I’m probably not going to swim again this year.
Oh, I want COVID-19 to calm down and enjoy everyday life as soon as possible.
