私の普段使用しているデスクトップPCですが、今年で12年目を迎えます。
アップデートを繰り返し、これまで使い続けてきましたが、Windows11に更新するための最小構成を満たしていないと判断が下されました。
2年ほど前にZoom会議をした時、「ゴゴーっ！」と、PCのファンの音が大きいので話し相手もその音が気になるようでした。
私は普段から聞きなれているので気にしませんが、そろそろ買い替え時なんだと思っています。
仕事ではほとんどPCに負荷をかけることがありませんので、次に購入する際は、ミニパソコンでデスク周りをスッキリさせようかと思っています。
しかし、パソコンの動作に不満は感じていないので、もうしばらく使っていたいという気持ちもある。
パソコンを自作したいけど、いきなりミニパソコンを作るのはパーツ選択のハードルが高そうです。
一応、まだあと二年はWindows10のサポートが続くので、それまでに決めておかないといけないですね。

The 12th year desktop PC has a loud fan noise
This is my 12th year of desktop PC, which I usually use.
After repeated updates, I’ve been using it so far, but it was decided that it didn’t meet the minimum configuration for updating to Windows 11.
When I had a Zoom meeting about two years ago, the sound of the PC fans was so loud that the other party seemed to be worried about it.
I don’t care because I’m familiar with it, but I think it’s time to buy a new one.
At work, I rarely put a load on my PC, so when I buy it next time, I’m thinking of using a mini PC to keep my desk clean.
However, I’m not dissatisfied with the operation of the computer, so I also want to use it for a while.
I want to make my own personal computer, but suddenly making a mini personal computer seems to be a high hurdle for parts selection.
For the time being, support for Windows 10 will continue for another two years, so I have to decide by then.
