私の使っているBluetoothのトラックボールマウスの調子が悪かったので、故障したものだと思っていました。
しかし、結局のところ故障なんかではありません。
マウスの表面に付着している汚れを綺麗にするだけでは、お手入れとして不十分だったということです。
危うく5,000円くらいするロジクールのマウスをポチッと購入してしまうところでした・・・。
今日は、トラックボールマウスのお手入れについて調べたところ、裏側からボールを押し出せることが判明。
そんなわけで、まずはマウスの電源をオフ。
そして裏側からペンのキャップ側を使って押し出したところボールが勢いよく飛び出しました。
ボールの入っていた穴の中を覗いてみると、やっぱり埃が溜まっておりセンサー？レンズを塞いでしまっています。
それをティッシュペーパーで綺麗に拭き取り、穴の周りの汚れも含めてお掃除することができました。
ボールを元に戻して電源を入れて使ってみたところ、マウスの動きがかなり良くなりました。
とっても便利なトラックボールマウスですが、こうやって定期的に汚れを取ってお手入れすることが大事ということが分かりました。

That’s why I turned off the mouse first.
And when I pushed it out from the back side using the cap side of the pen, the ball popped out vigorously.
When I looked into the hole where the ball was in, it was still dusty and was it a sensor? The lens is blocked.
I wiped it clean with tissue paper and was able to clean it, including dirt around the holes.
When I put the ball back in, turned it on, and used it, the movement of the mouse improved considerably.
It’s a very convenient trackball mouse, but I found it important to clean and clean it regularly.
