今日はAmazon Music Primeのアップデートがありました。
今まではアンリミテッド会員でなければ聴けるのが200万曲でしたが、なんと1億曲まで聴けるようになったのですね。
私は3か月ほど前にアンリミテッド会員を解約したので、米津玄師とかKing Gnuの楽曲は聴けなくなっていました。
しかし、先ほど過去に作ったプレイリストを確認しましたが、ほとんど聴けるようになっていて嬉しい限り。
ただ気になったのは、シャッフル再生を強制されることです。
※厳選プレイリスト以外でピンポイントでこの曲を聴きたい！と思ったときはもう大変・・・。
スキップすることは可能でも、スキップ回数に制限がある、これってどこかで聞いたような。
ちなみにピンポイントで曲を選びたい時は「よく聴く音楽」とか「曲を選んで再生できる厳選プレイリスト」や「購入済み」に入っている楽曲のみ。
「よく聴く音楽」は順番どおりでしたが。
シャッフルの場合、プレイリスト以外からの類似した楽曲と判断されたものが含まれるので、知らない曲でも当然のように流れてきます。
また、EchoDotで再生する場合は、アレクサが「プライム特典で再生します」と長々と説明をした上でようやく再生するようになっています。
それが嫌ならアンリミテッド会員になってね、ということですね。
※「シャッフル」のマークと「再生」のマークが付いているので、一応見分けることは可能です。
私にとっては元々、Amazon Music Primeはオマケで付いているような感覚だったのでマシですが。
今回のアップデートは酷評されても仕方なさそうですね。

Amazon Music Prime update now lets you listen to 100 million songs… but
There was an update for Amazon Music Prime today.
Until now, you could listen to 2 million songs unless you were an unlimited member, but now you can listen to 100 million songs.
I canceled my unlimited membership about three months ago, so I couldn’t listen to songs by Kenshi Yonezu or King Gnu.
However, I just checked the playlist I made in the past, and I’m happy that I can listen to most of them.
The only thing that bothers me is that it forces me to shuffle play.
- I want to listen to this song with pinpoints other than the carefully selected playlist! It’s already hard when I thought…
It’s possible to skip, but there’s a limit to how many times you can skip.
By the way, when you want to select songs with pinpoint accuracy, only songs that are in “Frequently Listened Music”, “Selected Playlists for Selecting and Playing Songs”, and “Purchased”.
“Frequently listened music” was in order.
In the case of shuffle, songs that are judged to be similar from outside the playlist are included, so even songs you don’t know will flow as a matter of course.
Also, when playing with EchoDot, Alexa will finally play after explaining at length that “I will play with Prime benefits”.
If you don’t like it, become an unlimited member.
- Since the “shuffle” mark and the “play” mark are attached, it is possible to distinguish them.
For me, Amazon Music Prime was originally a bonus, so it’s better.
This update is going to get rave reviews.
