イギリスの国営放送であるBBCでは、ニュースのYouTubeチャンネルだけでなく英語学習の専門チャンネルがあります。
しかし、番組はもちろん全て英語なので、ちょっとレベルが高いなーと思って諦めていました。
私は近頃、huluのBBCニュースライブを観るように習慣化している最中なのですが、もっと英語に慣れる必要性を感じています。
そんなわけで、BBCの英語学習チャンネルも仕事の合間に視聴するようにしました。
すると、比較的英会話初級者向けの動画もあって分かりやすそうでした。
毎週末にはLIVEで質疑応答の放送もあるので、リアルタイムで番組に参加できて面白そうです。
普段、英会話の勉強をしていても孤独感が付きまといますが、これなら同じように世界中で英語を勉強している人たちがいることがいて勇気づけられる気がします。
とりあえず、しばらくはBBCの放送を利用して楽しみながら勉強しようと思います。

BBC English learning channel looks interesting
The BBC, the UK’s national broadcaster, has a dedicated channel for learning English as well as a YouTube channel for news.
However, of course all the programs are in English, so I gave up thinking that the level was a little high.
I’ve been getting into the habit of watching hulu’s BBC News Live these days, but I feel the need to get used to English more.
That’s why I also decided to watch the BBC’s English learning channel between work.
Then, there was a video for beginners of English conversation, which seemed to be easy to understand.
There is also a live Q & A broadcast every weekend, so it seems interesting to be able to participate in the program in real time.
Even if I usually study English conversation, I feel lonely, but I feel encouraged by the fact that there are people all over the world who are studying English as well.
For the time being, I’m going to enjoy studying using the BBC broadcast for a while.
