Amazonプライムビデオでボクシングの世界戦、WBC／WBAライトフライ級チャンピオン寺地拳四朗 VS 世界フライ級２位オラスクアガの試合を観ました。
今回の放送では、那須川天心選手のデビュー戦に注目が集まっていましたが、メインイベントは寺地拳四朗選手のタイトルマッチ。
対戦相手WBOチャンピオンのジョナサン・ゴンサレスの病気による中止で急遽、上の階級フライ級で右利きのオラスクアガ選手との対戦が決定。
サウスポー対策に力を入れていた寺地拳四朗選手は、戦い方の変更を余儀なくされました。
タイトルマッチにふさわしい激闘が繰り広げられて、ここ最近では一番良い試合だったんじゃないかと思うほど面白いハラハラする展開でした。
結果は、寺地拳四朗選手のTKO勝利でしたが、オラスクアガ選手もタフで最後まで全力の打ち合いを続けてチャンピオンを追い詰めたのは間違いありません。
両者足を止めて打ち合う紙一重のシーンも緊張感があって最高でした。
オラスクアガ選手の全力を出して諦めない精神、正直なところファンになりました。
おそらくチャンピオンになる実力を持っているので、またタイトルマッチに挑戦する日が来るんじゃないかと思っています。
寺地拳四朗選手も心が折れかけた、と試合後のコメントで話していましたし。
もしも階級を上げた時、再び対戦することがあったらぜひまた観たいですね。

I watched a world boxing match on Amazon Prime Video, a match between WBC/WBA light flyweight champion Kenshiro Terachi VS world flyweight second place Orascuaga.
In this broadcast, attention was focused on Tenshin Nasukawa’s debut match, but the main event was Kenshiro Teraji’s title match.
His opponent, WBO champion Jonathan González, was canceled due to illness, and he was hurriedly decided to fight Olascuaga, a right-handed player in the upper class flyweight.
Kenshiro Teraji, who was focusing on southpaw countermeasures, was forced to change his fighting style.

I would definitely like to see them again if I have to fight them again when I move up the weight class.
